AllyB Not great preparation for this. Had a bit of an injury which stopped me from doing any decent running in the 4 weeks before the race. Add to that the hills and I was very pleased to get this time!

clairster Think I just snuck in under 1.50 (subject to official results!!). Fab race, really friendly marshalls and great organisation. Great views across the cheshire plains and got up a good bit of speed down the hills. Really enjoyed it and didnt find the final drag up the last hill too bad. legs just about made it to the end, although they were feeling distinctly jelly like in the last mile. Great to see CD again and finally meet AndyF

RunningBob 5th 2nd V40 Very hilly course but my favourite half. Nice roads, great views, friendly. Felt harder this year. Ran most of the way racing for 3rd. Started to close on 2nd but the wheels came off in the last mile and dropped to 5th. 1.5 mins slower than last year when I ran totally alone. Great fun though :-)

TheAlien Lovely course - all the comments about the views are absolutely right. I struggled from mile 10 - I was cramping up but that aside, was really pleased. Great organisation and fantastic support along the way. Cheers Macclefield
