KinkyS That was tough! 3 laps, with the undulations of the first lap turning into the Himalayas by the third, especially at the 20-22 mile stage, where my legs forgot how to run, not helped by the headwind pushing me backwards faster than I was shuffling forwards (funnily enough, there was never a tailwind to compensate...). Was on for sub 3:30 until the wheels fell off at 20 miles, but still well pleased with my performance in such conditions.

Lorraine I will be happy no mater what time I get as long as I finish UPDATE The wind was unbelivable and had definatly got stronger by my third lap.Marshalling was excerlent.I hate to admit this but I really enjoyed myself.......

Running Fish medium course in terms of difficultly. a few hills, and a bit of 'in and out' of shopping centres, but that wind made it a monster, particularly on the 3rd lap. how's it possible to have a 9 mile lap which has 7miles into the wind. would gladly have traded the sun and wind for rain and calm. good marshalling and feeding, with plenty of encouragement.
