Ginger N The 10k runner for team BG in the relay: Well it was only 9k feel slightly cheated as if it had have been the 10 as advertised I'd be the owner of a shiny new PB.....did it in 33:23

kaybear What a disaster. Had a bit of an accident during the transition between run and bike and cut my leg. Had to stop for first aid as it wouldnt stop bleeding and after i finished the race had 6 stitches!

KevBev ran faster on leg one but bike and run 2 felt harsh, knocked 1:52 off last year and got sub 2 hours so well pleased

Mazza aka Fitso good first run - about 22.30, bike felt hard & had a gear malfunction on the big hill which cost me a bit if time. second run was a bit slower - 23.10 but all in all a good race & about 4 mins quicker than last year. I'd be interested to know the actual run distances 'cos they felt pretty short kms to me. Really nice afternoon 'though & a good season closer. ...and came 1st in my age group & 5th female overall. V chuffed.

podrunner Am doing the Fun distance. 5k run, 10k bike, 5k run. Did this in 2006 and loved it. OUTCOME - fantastic weather for it. Enjoyed it just as much as last time, splits were 20.59, 25.40, 19.48, total 1hr 08. 37 Finished 4th female compared to 8th in 2006.

Stokie I'm doing this as part of a relay team. I'm doing the 9k leg with the 20k bike ride and 5k run being done by my friends Andy & Jo. Can't wait..... Go Team Shanjo!
