Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Sime Very hot, no cooling breeze at all, and suprisingly hilly. New PB by over 4 mins so very happy with that, although was hoping to get under 45 mins, but the heat was cetainly a factor. Enjoyed the race, good to come back past the start where the crowds were at 8k, made the last 2 k a bit easier.

The running poet My first run for ages as I've been nursing an achilles injury so I just ambled along at the start to see what happened and then tried to move up (a little) through the field in the second half of the race. It was a very hot and muggy morning and the little undulations along the Millennium Coastal Path took their toll, especially towards the end, but I was very happy to be out and running again. My right achilles was fine at the time, but, needless to say, it's now aching like mad.
