DCB The Achillies strain I got before the Edinburgh marathon is still causing me problems hence the somewhat disappointing time. Good course though, I'd do it again next year.

JulesR Kirkintilloch 10k pacing Larrry with 3 r's - nice route and even nicer not to have to thrash it for a change.

mad4it Not actual chip time so probably nearer my predicted time than what was noted by the time i crossed the line. Not my fastest 10km and it did feel slightly longer.

Roadrunner Bark This Is a good wee Race, though not as flat as I had Imagined as there was a couple of Inclines! The weather didn't help as It was heavy rain for a while and quite windy In the first half of the race. I started off In 7th place by sitting behind the leading guys, this becomming a pack of 4 which set the tone then that this was going to be a close race! I had a good sight of them all around the course and just before Mile 5, I decided to have a real go at and I passed two runner's and moved very comfortable Into 5th.I knew If I could close In on the guys In front then I would have a real chance of catching the eventual winner. However I seemed to have run out of ground just when my pace was getting quicker and the race was over! I finished In 5TH Place and I was also 3RD Senior-Male Overall, with there being 2 vets In front of me.Not a PB tonight though I can take alot of positives away from the race esp by finishing very strongly.I had a good chat with the winner Rithcie Leach.I really enjoyed It and I look forward to doing this again next time around.
