Go-KL Training for the London Marathon had been going really well - I was putting in some impressive tempo runs - but with no race since October was unsure of pace.
Silverstone Half Marathon course was quite cool, twisty in places and exposed to the elements but enough parts were quick and straight enough to stretch the legs.
Once again I probably went off too quick in the first 6 miles, as miles 6-10 were a bit of a struggle keeping the Heart Rate up. I rallied though to recover in the final 3 miles to post my second fastest ever half marathon time - a little disappointed though to not break 1:20, as better strategy I think would have allowed it.

Vindicator My first half marathon. My body started to complain at mile 10 and I found things pretty hard from then on. My boss overtook me at this point too! I will be better prepared next time.

Covert Didn't really enjoy this; had start of a knee and hip strain and surface felt really heavy, plus nothing to look at but what did I expect! Still, nice to pad some F1 track and got a PB (and the start of a 3-week lay-off)!

PieNapper Really looking forward to this, previous half time was around 1:54, should be capable of a much quicker time this year (around 15 mins faster hopefully)
