Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

oldbirdhead I'm quite pleased with this time when considering how crap I felt before the race...I pulled my hamstring on wednesday at the gym and my legs felt really heavy when training yesterday. Again legs were aching during the race from about 2k! If I manage to feel good before one of these races I should do around 38...maybe should ditch the pre race pasta next time. 3:45,3:55,3:58,4:14,3:51,3:58,3:56,4:07,3:58, 3:57.

Spans It was with some trepdiation that i approached this race as the last 2 10ks I had done had been the day after xc races, so having run well in those I was 'expected' to post a good time...

The start was very fast and it wasn't until after the 1st km that I had the space to try and settle down into a pace that was good for me, but at least with all the people I had some shelter from the wind... from there on in it was just a painful blur until the last kilometer into the wind towards the finish line... but I made it and finished with a new PB by 42 seconds... wooooo hooooo!!!

wozzlehunter well organised race,
what i thought would be a cold nippy run turned out to be a hot sticky race,
i'm sure running postie will knuckle down and do some training now, he wont be far behind me in a couple of weeks, keep at it mate.
