About this parkrun

Drumpellier Parkrun starts and ends on the tarmac that lines the loch but is mostly a trail run. Starting affords plenty of space to overtake then turns into a wooded trail area doing 2 laps before returning to the start/finish area. A pleasant run.

Now in its 6th week it comprises a start/finish area about 100m from 2 lap course with a mixture of road and trail - undulating. Muddy with deep puddles today with constant heavy rain but still attracted almost 250 runners.

What a beautiful place for a parkrun especially with great company

Flat as a pancake course, two laps mainly through the woods. I can see how this might get busy, and it's not too wide a path, but if you are not PB hunting it's fine. Lovely day out.

My 1st parkrun in over 2 years, Jack's first in even longer. Our first outing at Drumpellier. Good course.

Nice. Half round pond on tarmac, then a trail section through woods, but good surface, then repeat for 2nd lap and finish on tarmac. Easy access, good parking, with electric car charging, toilets and cafe. Bit congested start clears. Flat! :-) G

Basically two flat loops on wide tracks through a country park. Some trail, some tarmac.
