Bazza Really enjoyed this one, and I am sure I will be just under the 50 min mark when the results come out....Happy is not the word for how the run went - felt real strong all the way through - and even though the time is not a world beater - it is for me.....Big smile, looking forward to breaking 2 hours now for a half marathon.

PlodderRW AFTER: Well chuffed, a fast course, hadn't had chance to run much towards end of week so fresh legs, perfect weather (think bout 7 degrees). Didn't look at watch much, ran as felt, just under 26 at 5K, downhill on way back but also pushed. 5 mins off 10K time in 5 weeks, feel confirmed that Ely New Years Eve was an off day, although Jan training also helped, just need to keep it up now... BEFORE: Be interested to see what can do this at, not expecting anything fast for me since only been training again for a few weeks and no speedwork yet, but hoping to at least beat Ely time of 54.20 and hopefully take a minute or two off it.

SimonF Disappointed not to beat my target, but this is a great race. Very well organised, very fair course and an almost guaranteed reverse split to make you feel like a real runner.
