I have been running for a number of years but only joined a club (Belle Vue Racers) 9 months ago).The track training has been a lot of fun - much more so than pounding the streets or the treadmil and I also enjoy the camaradie .lSince joining Belle Vue I have set a few personal bests in the longer distances but would like to see if I can improve my times over the one mile and 5 k during the Summer - providing I can pace myself a bit.I have discovered cross country before as the Trail races which I prefer to road running and am looking forward to next season already.
