Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Dynamo Kev Potentially very quick course as it's flat as a pancake. Thankfully there was no wind, which will always be a potential hazard on a seafront course. Not many km markers were visible, but enough to have a good idea of how I was progressing. Well organised, especially considering the potential for mowing into unwary tourists on the promenade.

fraggle PB by just under 2 minutes so I'm well chuffed :o)
My right calf/ankle have been bad since I twisted it recently, so wasn't expecting too much today. Didn't see any km markers and lost it mentally for about 10 mins around 6k, but still managed a massive PB so I'm very pleased. Next stop

Hollywoof! Brighton 10km - lovely conditions and lovely race - only small problem was the size and positioning of the km markers - but I had fun :-) Rough splits are: 1.5km - 6:40 3km - 6:29 6.5km - 15:31 10km - 15:16 :-) Shiraz's GPS measured the course a bit short - 9.915 - but who cares - PB :-)

Sezz My aim was to get sub 55 by the end of the year and I missed it by a pesky few seconds! Still, I beat my previous PB by a minute and a half which I'm chuffed with. Not a bad race but felt a bit icky at 6km, stitch at 8 and legs died at 9.5km. Lovely day out with superb weather and fab to see so many friends.

Spans I didn't know what to expect from me after having a fantastic xc race yesterday, and my legs were certainly telling me that I had raced the day before. But after a bit of pushing and shoving at the start I soon got into the swing of things and was doing well at the 1 and 2k markers, so decided to that I would continue and try and put in a decent 5k and then see how i feel... 5k past and things were good... but then that was it for the km markers so I ran the rest of the race as I felt, with no idea of pace... so was chuffed to bits to cross the line with a new pb by 45 secs and a time of 37:02... am not sure of my place but I think it was either 4th or 5th, so not bad!!!
