Gobi I ran 17.40 for 5km today(Saturday 8th Dec) and feel a bit rough. Have a hunch I can run 2 x it tomorrow. I ran 35.27 with a 20 second neg split. It was a little wet and windy out there Oh and had a long drag UP to the airfield so not as flat as expected. Solid run though.

Rach E 37:30 attempt. ***UPDATE*** Not quite the PB I'd originally hoped for but I'm very pleased with how I ran considering I'm ill and my legs are tired from XC yesterday. Course was a bit more undulating than I'd remembered and the flooding made it very slippery in places (some roads on the aerodrome were impassable because of the floods so we just had to plough straight through). First senior lady (third lady overall). Very well organised by Alchester RC and Bicester AC.

AlB Didnt make it anywhere near 42mins. Was below par for it - BUT still feel a real let down. MUST trian better, once I've got over this bug and my back's back to normal!

clare1976 Aiming for a PB, but will be a tall order, so we will see. Hope it will be a close thing. 7/12: May be affected by strong winds and rain forecast! Not the PB I had originally hoped for, but I am surprisingly at ease with that and pleased with my time - my 2nd best ever at 10k, within a minute of my PB and it was harder than I thought - the airfield was pretty exposed and I struggled especially into the headwind. Sorry betters (myself included), today on that course in that weather it wasn't meant to be... but there will be time in future!

Yeti My 2nd 'proper' race, and 1st 10k (GSR was first). Doing Santa 6k in London the day before, thinking of that as a fun warm-up. Did 1:04 at the 10k split of GSR, would love to get cloer to 1hr.
