Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

London is always dull... I raced it once, never been back in. I've never ridden Richmond either.

Richmond is very pretty, but full of steep cobbled streets. It'd be a shit ride in real life.

Why do you think London is dull? I don't have a smart trainer, and I tend to do workouts to keep it interesting, so the scenery is just that and I quite like London. I wonder if I had a smart trainer would I also think it was dull?

you know what I don't know why I think its dull, its possibly because I've not really done much in it and don't really fancy it (Although I do get to ride past our London office :D ) I just prefer Watopia, its interesting, its flats are good, nice climbs etc and tons of variety.

I've been looking at, and not ridden yet, Road Grand tours which is virtual climbs up famous mountains (Formentor, Stelvio) I must give it a go at some point.

I had a strange one last night... I was on a group ride, sitting about mid-group but a little ahead of the ride leader, in Watopia. We came to a junction. Everyone went straight on. I went left :-O. I have no idea why... I tried to turn around, but the function wouldn’t work. In the end I had to abandon the group ride and just potter along on my own. Any ideas how this can have happened?

Not come across that before Cath. Might be worth raising a ticket with the Zwift team to see if they can shed any light.

Couple of rides over the weekend. Haven't been on for a while - I had no 30 day PRs.

Parts on London were rammed today, just riding through a constant line of riders.

My brother - a fellow mountain biker - told me yesterday that he never gives me Kudos on strava for Zwift rides as really they’re ‘just an hour on the turbo in the garage’. His view is he doesn’t log his spin sessions at the gym and sees them as comparable. We’re going to have to agree to disagree on this one :-)

Hi, I'm new to Zwift and turbo training but have been on Fetch for ages.

I'm looking for advice on the best/simplest/least complicated way of syncing a workout from my trainer to here and also Vitality if anyone knows about that.

Background, I run with a Garmin watch, sync it to Garmin Connect and it sends the data to Fetch, strava and Vitality.

I have a Wahoo Kickr Snap and did 2 quick rides tonight just to get the feel of how it all hangs together.

One session was on Zwift iOS on my iPad. I'd set up the companion app on my android phone to sync to Garmin Connect. The ride was synced to Garmin Connect, but wasn't synced on from there to strava Fetch or Vitality. It seems that as Garmin wasn't the source of the ride, it doesn't pass it on.

The second session was just using the Wahoo Fitness app on my phone. I was able to easily share it to Strava.

So, is there an easy way to get a session from Wahoo or Zwift in to Fetch and Vitality?

Tips/hints anyone?

Thanks.
