Had my first fail on Tuesday. Went upstairs with the full intention of doing some before getting into bed, but by the time I got up there I forgot. Yoga for memory, anybody?

It's called Serenity, becca, but she does say 'serenity now' occasionally and giggle

I've done some of the stretches the last two days but no Adriene. Must do one today, I have terrible doms in my glutes from Tuesday bootcamp.

I have also fallen off the Yogtember wagon. Must get back on. Is there a 'yoga for excessively needy dogs who are under the impression we are practicing attachment parenting'?

it's called 'shut them in the other room and ignore them' yoga, Maz. Can't you take him for a long walk first to tire him out and then give him a treat while you do it?

Mazlin-I would persevere by gently pushing dog away and keeping calm. When I first started doing yoga, the dogs were both really silly, but now they mostly just ignore me. There was the weird behaviour the other day but I think that might have been because we were approaching their food time and they were getting antsy when it looked like I was getting up.
If it's really getting to you then you may have to shut the dog away but it is quite nice having calm dogs sharing the space with you whilst you yoga.

afternoon all - am definitely now in a new routine of going up to bed earlier with cup of tea, doing my yoga and then relaxing with a book. life has been hectic with Teen1 taken back to uni and Teen2 settled into 6th form college, so even this 10-15 mins had been a bonus

Maz have you done settle or boundary training with Rory? Training Ernie to settle on his own blanket/bed has been so useful generally but definitely for yoga. We also had to persevere with a gentle shove and ignoring. A horrifically smelly chew to keep him busy also helps.

Settle is still a work in progress...it might be ready for Yogtember 2018...
I think he'd be better if I did more 'standing up' yoga - it's the sitting/lying on the floor he sees as an invitation to crawl all over me. Maybe I'll just practice balancing this week (God knows I need to work on my balance, which is rubbish).
