Yes, blocks are your best friend...especially in things like triangle/trikonasana, or Warrior 3 if balance is an issue. Half moon is another one where you'll find it helpful.

Think of them as extensions for your arms if they're not long enough and if you need extra reach in forward folds and things like that.

Ah, yes. The belt. The blocks came with a belt. I thought it was just to tie them together for storage! I have since been educated.

I have two regular blocks, two oval blocks, a belt, a bolster, a meditation cushion, a blanket, and two knee “dots” for cushioning 😀
