I don't think there is a neigh whinny and snicker thread... however if I were to start one on my experiences its more likely to be the bolt, bite and kick thread... or the fall off, refuse to be caught, tread on foot thread...

Or perhaps and most appropriately The big black hole that every single penny you earn is poured into ... yes it's the horse owners thread....

Anyway I haven't got a horse any more and I am soon going to sell all the bits and pieces I have been keeping 'for the next one' and I only know where the nearest livery yard is and how much it costs to keep a horse there because I just happened to see it in passing......so I'm not going to be the one to start it ;-)

Before we all get too starry-eyed with the delightful new thread puppies...

Walk with friend Lily today. Usual mad chasing round, disappearing into the woods then reappearing etc etc. Except on one occasion Lily reappeared, eventually, but no Flossie. Called to no effect. Went and found her lying under a tree with a bit of grey 'something' hanging out of her mouth and being swallowed as fast as she could. By the time I got to her and forced her mouth open (she was NOT going to 'drop') it was down her gullet.

A few hundred yards on, it all came back up :-(:-0 I think it was a baby rabbit; to be perfectly honest, I didn't investigate too closely. It was utterly revolting, whatever it was.

Oh naughty Flossie. Wanda would have done exactly the same, except she probably would have waited until she was on her bed in the car to sick it all back up :-o

Oh my... I'm *so* glad she brought that back up again (and before you got into the car), and hope there are no ill effects.

Right... quite enough doggy pics and blogs about pups from me so update here!
He was sick on the way to the vet's even though I drove carefully hopefully he will get used to it. He was pretty scared of the vet but pronounced fit and well and had his vacs.
My dog trainer came to visit with her 12 week old pup who is a poo of some kind - I should have asked but we were too busy laughing at the pair of them chasing each other and play fighting. Did both of them the power of good though since then Indi has forgotten he goes outside for a wee... and he was completely dry until then.
We have our first puppy class tomorrow evening the trainer is happy to take him without his second vac as all the others are fully done and we are both keen that he gets some important socialisation asap. I cant afford any mistakes with this one.
He is good with the hens and scared of the cattle and doesn't leave my side for a moment, I have to be careful not to trip over him. He has started biting my trousers AtC I remember you say Charlie did that. :)
Sleeps and eats well and is really quite easy to have around at the moment.

I wonder if the weeing is in some way re-asserting his scent over the other dog's?
