Interestingly I have just had a couple of days away from home, staying on the coast with a couple, their 3 year old daughter and their Cocker Poo dog (J stayed at home with Wanda because the space inside the house wasn't really a suitable environment for Wanda to be 24/7 with people & a dog she is not used to and the child is a bit scared of dogs other than her own.) Going out for a walk, to the beach etc with a little fluffy dog in tow is unbelievably different to having a lively, strong, and slightly nervous Staffie X with you. A real eye-opener.
