Thank you! Yes, we finally decided to stick to Charlie.
He's been very good so far, we had one bad night with him whining a lot but last night he slept through apart from 5 minutes about 2.30am. Toilet training is a bit hit and miss though!
There may well be questions ahead....!
I have one for starters - I'm feeding him Royal Canin puppy food. It says to feed him 29g in 3 feeds. I'm assuming that means 29g daily total, not 29g each feed? It's a very little bit and he always seems to be looking for more food. But then he's only a very little bit of a dog!
Should I give him a bit more?

It's a bit like a baby: if he's hungry feed him. If he gets fat cut down. I spent hours hand feeding our now 17 month old Vizsla when he was a toddler. Now he eats well

Goodness Alice that post tells me how tiny Charlie must be! (That is *definitely* the best name for him, btw!) I thought 29g sounds like almost nothing so I googled 'feeding my maltipoo puppy' and people were talking about a teaspoon or two, three times a day, so I guess the answer is 29g x 3 times. Your breeder should have made it clear. Ours gave us a pot which he'd marked up appropriately for a Lab puppy. It was a lot more than a teaspoon

Tuss started off with about "a big handful" three times a day

We had a fat dog for a while when we fed him his 100g per day as 100g per meal (twice). Once I realised we got back to proper weight quite quickly.

We've been back to agility today for the first time in a good couple of months (possibly more). Wanda is good and does all I ask of her but doesn't seem to get the thrill and excitement out of it that the other dogs get. Her attitude seems to be 'OK so I do all the things on this course and at various stages on the way round I'll be offered a little piece of sausage, but I don't know when the sausage is going to be offered so I just have to keep going until it is.'
She seems happy to be at the place where the agility is held and enjoys seeing the teacher(s) and wags her tail when we are there but there isn't the same enthusiasm I see at our (new) obedience classes.
I'm now wondering whether to a) do an agility class at the new obedience place and see if she enjoys that more - and if so sign up for regular sessions there b) give up agility altogether and do something else with my Saturdays (the time of this class is not the most convenient) c) stick with where we go, but just go once every month/six weeks as something different for her.
I love it - but it's not about me it's about Wanda and if she doesn't really enjoy it I don't want to keep taking her. She is now nice and tired though - and a tired dog is a good dog

For food I got guidance online. Not sure about puppies, but adults they recommended 2.5% of body weight per day feeding. 3% to fatten up or for very very active dogs. 2% for weight loss.
