ION we had an incident yesterday. We were on a 2 day hike, stopped at a burn to cool our feet, dog appears having rolled in something. That something was human excrement. He was covered.
I washed him as best I could in the burn, he swam in a loch, he got a thorough bath when we got home, heβs been in the sea twice. He still absolutely stinks π€’

I did wonder if ketchup would work on human poo as well. QP was furious that someone left it out in the open, close to a water source as well.

Poppy's holiday continues.
She looked particularly skinny after our 8 mile walk, so we treated her to fish n chips!
Now she is keeping us safe from the 100's of squirrels on the campsite.

Itβs the vinegar in ketchup that gets rid of the smell apparently, so try rinsing him with some diluted white vinegar, hp.

I use distilled white vinegar on Floss when she rolls in fox poo. Seems to work!
