That's a wonderful photo, and little glass art too.

Today we have an 11 year old Phoebe. By 11, it’s 10 years since the vet at Dogs Trust, on her intake assessment, decided she was about 1 year old.
Chicken, potatoes, veg and gravy for tea for the dogs.

Happy birthday Phoebe!
Poor son2 had a terrible journey home from work yesterday thanks to the all-day M5 closure above Exeter. One of the big problems was being very very late picking up the children from nursery (but at least a member of staff stayed on to look after them) but another was collecting the dogs from their daycare. Poor dogs were left shut in a kennel in the dark and the staff went home. I'm not blaming them but... Polly Labrador cried all the way home in the car

Happy birthday Phoebe!
Arrived in the South of France yesterday with Albie (and my sister and her partner and their 3 dogs) after a very long day in the car (16 hours). We had 3 dogs in the boot (it was like dog tetris!) and Albie on the back seat with one person and most of our luggage in a roofbox. Feel very lucky to get here as we later discovered the channel tunnel had closed due to unexpected strikes! Looking forward to 6 days of relaxation and today Albie also gets his French passport

The youngest of my sister’s dogs - a 4.5 month old Weimaraner who will be the bringer of chaos I’m sure. He’s huge!
At least there is plenty of outdoor space here!
