That's so sad Baroness. it hurts doesn't it!

I'm still not over the loss of Murphy.... I love Phoebe to bits, and she is the polar opposite of Murphy in so many ways, so it is a different experience entirely. I seldom make comparisons, which is good, as it wouldn't be fair to compare her to the Perfect Man!

Thanks all - she's on loads of meds at the moment and once they are all kicked in she is a happy little thing and doesn't seem to know she is ill. She's having surgery on Monday. We're hoping for the best but preparing for the worst....

Best wishes for Wanda and BBL from me too.

I seldom make comparisons

I'm the opposite - I tell Luna almost every single day that she's way more stubborn and headstrong than her predecessor. She doesn't seem to the slightest bit perturbed by my observations though!

Sending lots of love to you and Wanda, Baroness.

I used to compare Flossie to her two predecessors when she was a youngster and I was trying to train her ;-) Our two previous Labs were soooo much easier :-)

We had Bella spayed on Thu, keyhole surgery. I'm sure she's supposed to be taking it easy round the house, but she doesn't seem to have got the memo. 🫣

That's what the vet said to us when Floss had her keyhole spaying - because there's scarcely a visible wound they don't realise they should take it easier!

She's also a real wriggler when she's getting ready to sleep, so both dressings have already come off. Hope the onesie (and antibiotics) are enough to prevent an infection.
