The lab we encountered a few weeks ago was running loose again today. Came barreling up to us and nearly flattened Chester. This time I managed to pick him up but then couldn’t get away as she was jumping up all over me. Also didn’t really want to just let her run loose as no sign of owners. They eventually came out of a garden nearby and although I was too upset to say much I did say it was the second time she’s gone for him and it’s not ok. He just looks so small when that kind of thing happens.
Some dog owners suck.

A passing story. Jet is almost ten years old. He may be a little slower than he was but some things don’t change. Two days ago he stole pacer of macaroni and ate the kit. Uncooked.

Wanda applauds Jet. Wanda is currently only able to have a very small meal of chicken and rice. Probably for not dissimilar reasons but as yet we've been unable to work out exactly what may have been eaten and when.......

Bella was sick on a cushion last night and then proceeded to eat it all again before I could get to her, and then her protecting it. I just don't understand why they do it, and with such apparent gusto!

Bella: "Wow! Look at that, I've made my own dinner! It's magic. Mmmm, tasty!" (licks lips then attempts to lick G_g)

OH didn't shut the kitchen door firmly enough so at 2:30am the bedroom door was pushed open and my arm was nudged very firmly by a black Labrador Once she'd had a bit of fuss she jumped very neatly into the gap between OH and me and settled down and we all went back to sleep

We are fortunate that we have never led Wanda to believe it is possible for dogs to get on human beds!

It only happens very occasionally, Baroness. When Floss was younger (and so were we!) we would get up and take her back downstairs but nowadays it's too much effort Floss would never get on the bed in any other circumstance.
