Oh no Roberto! I’ve got a nasty gash on my finger from an ill judged game of tug with Albie - my finger was in the wrong place - OUCH He’s lost his first puppy canine according to the dog walker this morning - YAY. They are super sharp. She seems to have better success with playing with him and managing him than I do. I appear to have accidentally trained him to play with me like I’m another dog (barking, lunging at me and nipping my legs/tugging my trousers). Hard to train him out of that!! |

Wee bit worried as Chester was a bit aggressive with dogs he passed on his walk today- he's never normally like that. Hoping he's just a bit over-tired or out of sorts for one reason or another and will be back to his friendly self soon.

One thing which took me around 6 years to realise - Teddy barks ferociously at certain dogs. It baffled and embarrassed me, and it took the lovely owner of such a dog to enlighten me. He was barking at her dog because the dog was intact, to him their hormone levels smell unnatural I guess. He repeated this performance with the transsexual next door, even when she was out of sight but nearby. Oops.

Pen, when arlo lost his teeth, while he was still quite mouthy after, he improved loads. He does still mouth at us now but is much gentler with it. Some dogs will also bark at black dogs especially at dusk/night. Apparently it's to do with not being able to recognise their facial features as easily. Arlo has been excellent since the incident this morning. Has gone from half 8 until 3 without a walk but has slept and played quietly next to me during my meetings. Going mad in the woods now though which has been great for practicing his recall to the whistle. |

Ha just played that video on my computer with the speakers up loud, just about deafened myself with the whistle and Chester's wee ears pricked right up. Good job Arlo!

Wow great recall Arlo! We’re nowhere near being able to go off lead yet. Too many distractions in my local parks for Albie. |
