We are also soaking arlos kibble still as his appetite is all over the due to his teething. He lost about 8 teeth in about 3 days 2 weeks ago (and think that is all of them out now). But he went from eating everything ins economy, to now just grazing, or leaving it all day. Ate his breakfast at half 3 yesterday afternoon, then still ate his dinner at 7 having had nothing all day.

Breakfast has now gone since it's been soaked.

I'm applying the same rule to the dog as I do to the kids re: eating and drinking! Which is, as you say, if they're drinking and are energetic, then there isn't anything to worry about.

Rory is not really that food oriented. As long as he seems fine and is drinking and is interested in treats and my food I tend to apply the ‘he’ll eat when he’s hungry’ approach!

To add to our fun today, Skye has started to scoot on the carpet. JOY!

I gave her worming tablets yesterday... she's definitely scooting A LOT and has loose stools too. Again, lots. Do I give it a day or two before worrying? Advice would be appreciated. Thank you.

Did you use a vet prescribed worming tablet? If not be careful because there is an ingredient that can be harmful to border collies. I only found out after years of over the counter worming and luckily never picking the bad one.

Ivermectin I think it is.

As for the scooting and loose stools - should be okay for a day or so I would have thought. Maybe clearing it all out!

It probably works out cheaper and more effective to ring a vet and ask for 3 months supply. They just need to know the weight of the dog. I think I paid about £3 or so a month last year. Milpro is the one I use.

On a positive - I don't think any of the pets at home ones have ivermectin in them!

It was Drontal. You might be right about getting a supply from the vet rather than P-a-H.
