Me too Wobbling. I agree with you.

On the other hand both Caroline Lucas and the Vets woman made good, clear cases.

A smile from yesterday's agility class.

Jet was on good for (I had cheese in my pocket) but I was tired and found it hard to concentrate on the course. It's always the handler's fault...

Tunnel entrance next to A frame.
Objective: Ladder jumps then put the dog into the tunnel at the side of the A frame then... more course... then next time round go up the A frame missing the tunnel. Three times I pointed my feet and shoulders correctly for the tunnel but then turned too soon, so Jet went up the A frame and I had to call him back to do the sequence again. On the fourth go I finally got it right, Jet went through the tunnel and got very excited at being allowed to run, and then back... through the hoop, round the loop and up the A frame. Four foot up Jet stopped and turned to look at me, expecting to be called back. I said 'up' and he squealed and yelped with glee, going over the top with his tail high and squealing with joy. All I could hear, as we finished the run, were my classmates laughing at Jet.

I did my 1st volunteer shift at Dogs Trust today. Dennis the Labrador was very lucky he didn’t get taken home when I left 😉

Oh my you must have great will power. I'd want to take them all home. I work in schools and every time I do an observation I want to take some poor wee soul home with me. I'd be even worse with dogs.

D2 - That sounds great he'll be a natural for canine Strictly I'm sure ;-)

Dave - I agree with hp's comment. I often drive past our local Blue Cross Shelter and wonder if they need volunteer dog walkers but I think I'd find it too heartbreaking....

They all seemed like happy dogs. Although I only walked 4, all of whom have homes to go to they are just awaiting collection.

I'd quite like to sign QP up for dog walking at our local place. He is a school refuser and it would be something constructive for him to do. He seems to be a bit of a dog whisperer. Wherever we go dogs seem to come to him and we've had a few surprised owners saying their dogs don't normally show any interest in people.
