Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Petition signed via Bookface a couple of days ago.
Agree with TR about Pet Plan. It’s saved us a lot of money with Cookie and Phoebe over these last few years. Our vets do a direct claim with Pet Plan too. The charge an admin fee, but we pay the vet the excess and they claim from our account so at no point do we have to shell out loads of money then claim it back.

And as part of my career break from work I will be starting as a volunteer at Dogs Trust Kenilworth, where Cookie and Phoebe are from, on Monday.

Had a trial the other week and an induction today. I showed great restraint in not bringing home 8 week old puppies today 😀

Well done, Dave! Hope you can keep being restrained ;)
I've always had a bit of a yearning to volunteer there (George came from there too). Maybe when I've retired (current target date is January 2022).

However it’s a thing that Gove has said so I’ll take it with a pinch of salt for now.

Gove doesn't answer... if they were going to change it (as they were with many other clauses etc), why not leave it in place until they were ready to replace it with something better.

I’ve been listening to Gove talking about this on R4. I’m still no clearer on what the govt intends to do or when they intend to do it. He seemed really badly briefed and used the opportunity to blather on about how good it is to be leaving the EU.
