this is one of the big pluses for the soup maker home from a run slap things in turn it on (5mins max) shower and change then soup ready (takes 25 mins?) left over soup for work next day |

I often buy the soup packs in the local supermarket. Ready chopped veg ready to slap into the soup maker, for about a quid. Asda do a good butternut squash and chili one. Usually makes enough for a couple of days' lunches.

My advice is be careful. I put some strongly flavoured cabbage in some soup and it didn’t improve it
