Soup season starting here. We have porridge five or six days per week all year round but soup is an autumn and winter thing for me

I’m going to look at my slow cooker books too
My last soup (use soup maker) was peppers and onions that I’d roasted whilst cooking the roast dinner with a tin of mixed beans in mild chilli sauce. Bit thicker than I had planned but yummy

I’m cautious now of too much cabbage etc in soup. I’ve made a couple that smelt of compost Stef loves potatoes but too much and I end up with gooey wallpaper paste I love spinach and the colour is great
