Yes, I suppose swimming would pretty much guarantee you owning a square

A nice touch the .2 miles sea swim JCB and running down and back - rather a long episode of Baywatch. Now i've just got to figure out how to swim down the main Nottingham to Derby Road, although i could perhaps do a few lengths of a bath in the old people's home.

I suppose that bog snorkelling would count as swimming.

The local swimming pool and the River are both just outside my grid

With the dark nights our club run tonight went back onto the streets, and into my square. We covered 24 of my squares, 18 of which i ran through this morning, 5 JCB has run through today and 1 4-pointer. I'm starting a campaign for routes to be posted the day before so i can adjust my outings.

I'm losing 43-83 to DocM, I'm almost inclined to take that as a *win*

It's really annoying when you take a circuitous cycle home only to get there and find that you somehow stopped the Garmin after only 1 mile. And it had to be on the closest week for a long time.

It was more of a test with the swimming... how to get phone waterproof. Also meant to heart rate recording for my run. Baby steps. Timewise it would have been better to just go running or even cycling. Maybe I'll be able to do some 1mi swims! lol Probably would take me half a day though.
Good luck with the campaign Chrisity! Not sure how that would have helped in your instance of the club run though... running through many of the same squares as you already had (18), and the same as I already had (5), from 4 hours earlier?
I do think that perhaps there could be a way to look at the map and have a filter for today's efforts from both sides. Can't tell you how many times I've run over the same squares on the same day! It'd also help to suss out where the opponent has gone so far that day. It's a bit difficult looking at the grid after 2-3 days to sort out how to maximise your score for the next activity... when planning them... my friend does that!
Hopefully the grid came through, above.

That was meant to say "Also meant *no* heart rate recording".
In the grid, it'd be nice to know if E7, F7, G7 had been run in today, and if not then red could flip them by running.
