Oh flippin' 'eck - no pressure there then
So - not only do I need to apologise to DS for being a non-opponent this week but I also need to apologise to his MiL for disappointing her. Please explain that I'm currently running very short distances very slowly on only one and a half legs - recovery is progressing but I'm not pushing it. Maybe next time we meet, I'll have a chance

DS's MIL WSW reports sound like ideal blog-fodder (hint, hint )
My opponent this week (@Darran) seems to not have logged any activities, which I'm hoping is due to Garmin's outage rather than anything untoward. Now that the Garmin is starting to come back online, I'm expecting a deluge of activities and see my current handsome lead kicking firmly into the weeds...

Andy S, I thought someone might say that! I honestly don't think they meet the threshold.

I like Synge’s idea of the bookies getting involved 🤣
And DS: that’s amazing! From our WSW reporter...

Squeezed in a nice woodland walk with the dog after work before giving blood. I gave blood last year between marathons & I wrecked myself so as I’m actually running and exercising more than I was last year I’m taking tomorrow off, after that and a horrendous virus earlier in the year I’m not taking any chances. I may even take Friday off too or I’ll do a slow steady run to round my monthly miles up.

I am in a cracking game with bobbob where the lead changes hands every time one of us ventures out.
I had a sizeable lead when I went to bed last night but awoke to a 3 point deficit. 4 miles before work and a carefully planned route and I am back in the lead. I plan to run after work as well and think I can run in a different quartile of the grid to ensure I stay ahead.
Annoyingly I missed a few squares that I had intended to hit as I had forgotten all the streets I needed to hit
