Wriggling Snake
What would you have instead of a piece of cake? I think cake is quite good, it means there is a piece of cake there ready for you to take.
= that's a bit boring.

Yikes, I'm out of multiplayer after someone gobbled all but one of my squares. They didn't get ownership of them though; they're all cake now.

The multiplayer is a bit brutal this week and still time to change. (I typed that an hr ago, only just got round to posting)
My 1-1 has been a bit no quarter given too. 106 miles Mon lunch to Mon lunch and still delicately poised, well played DTs, (I had to get out this am to cling onto multiplayer).

Talking of cake... I'm happy with the indicator and it's useful to distinguish cake squares from non-explored zero squares. However, I've never got the joke. I assumed that was another personal failing to add to the list.

To be clear, I have no problem with the marker being cake. "Run for cake" is something I can get behind!
But there's a potential user experience improvement to be made so people know that it means the square is tied, that's all. Could be a bit of text somewhere/a tooltip/whatever.
In more important news, still in the cut for last 16 with 9 minutes to go 🤞

Stubiedoo, in the autumn, lots of people did change their icons to the fetch cake icon so they could stealthily hide in the multiplayer grid. I can't remember the first genius to think of that, but they deserve credit.

I think it was originally from conquersize where the amount of squares needed to take control was shown on the map. The piece of cake meant it would take almost no effort to gain control (“The saying "a piece of cake" means something that's simple to accomplish”)
