I'm not going to feed them early as I don't want to make them dependent (I don't feed them every night for this reason) and I don't want the youngsters to learn that daylight is OK

I was early for my physio appointment, so I rubbed my hands, cackled dementedly and deliberately cycled up and down every cul de sac to make sure I nabbed them. I cycled past some people several times and they gave me some very funny looks. I thought it was worth it. Then I got home and checked the map - every single one of them was outside the square. Idiot
