The shelf is bustling again. I only come here for the banter. Oh and to remind myself that dating sites are not for me. Thanks for sharing all of your experiences people. I'm slowly but surely turning into 'that dishevelled woman with the dog' (I don't do cats). It is preferable to the horrors of Match and POF.

Phook, I am so pleased to hear MaPhook is thriving. You definitely did the right thing moving her up. My mother is starting to not recognise her own home as home any more, so I am hoping we can convince her to move to somewhere near my sister and you have just given me reasons to push for this more.

I was out last night, in Dublin - seeing Scala choir. They were brilliant as always. A night out in Dublin always means a late night though. I got home about 3:30 this morning. Worth it though!

Yes HF since Wednesday. Mainly for Thom Yorke Thursday night, but had a great few days here.
Staying in a great hostel just below the castle.
Having a good time, but traveling on my own so finding it difficult to get into chats with people.

I’ll be in Edinburgh in August, all being well - but will nip over to Glasgow for a couple of gigs and am still considering staying an extra couple of days for a festival at Linlithgow - James are headlining and it’s a couple of years since I saw them, which is much too long.
Where was Thom York’s playing?
