Still smiling after last night.
No, not what you're thinking. Filthy minds!
The daughter of some very good friends did a 20 minute set at a talent night at a local pub last night. We went to watch and she was awesome. THis young lady is 20 now. We've known her since she was 3. She's a lovely girl but has been through some pretty tough times due to mental health issues, including a couple of suicide attempts.
She's not completely out of the woods yet but to see her up on stage, singing songs she wrote herself, and getting such a great reception from the crowd (it wasn't a huge crowd. 40 people tops, but still) was just wonderful.
Not ashamed to say I had a tear or two.

Nnifer and Nellers have both made me smile, and who doesn't love a snoring cat! I am smiling because Mr L has made me a skinny latte, I am wearing my favourite hoody and sitting looking at the garden which has far fewer weeds than it had yesterday.
