When people at work expect everyone to just KNOW when all the school holidays are.
"Please book in the rest of your annual leave but avoid the half term week"
Sorry, but if there's a week you want me to avoid then please could you refer to it by date? I don't have kids.

And sometimes there are different dates within areas - the schools in Manchester often stagger their half terms.

DHL tried to deliver a parcel for me while I was zwifting and Sam was out, so I couldn't answer the door. I received a notification that the parcel was delivered anyway, so I thought they'd left it in or under the car on the drive, which is our designated safe space.
Then another minute late I got a notification that they'd try to deliver it again tomorrow. I guess the driver or it down, walked away and watched for a minor, and when I didn't appear in time came and took it back?
What's the point of designating a safe place to leave things off they're going to loiter and take things back after just a minute? Grrrrrr.

I think the driver never actually got there....and all that was a ruse to make you think they tried.

They did actually press the doorbell 😂 But I was in the middle of a sprint and couldn't get off the bike to open the door.
