That's disgusting! A Harley Street pedicure maybe but not just for a standard nail-cutting.

Some people (especially neurodivergent people) do this not to "make it about them" but as a way of showing empathy, and kind of "I can relate". As someone who does this, realises - sometimes way after the conversation is over - and tries not to, I do understand it can be annoying. Hopefully a different perspective on what they might be trying to achieve could make it less irritating? I regularly review conversations in hindsight and cringe. |

@Carpathius, the gentleman in question isn't neurodivergent. He's just very self centred and not terribly self aware! He loves to talk, not to listen. But I get your point. And even those of us who are not ND regularly review conversations and cringe at our words! |

@3M there certainly are just self-absorbed people too. And I'm quite glad it's not just me! |

Outlook. I'd never believed reports of how bad it is, but now I am beginning to get an idea. Among other sins it is crashing my browser (Firefox) and doing even worse with Edge where one really might think it would be at its best. |
