Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Amazon.

35 minutes telling them we don't want their credit card while not succeeding in placing an order.

[Re IT support - we're supposed to use on-line forms for everything, but we're next to IT's secure office, and as I'm a fire steward my pass allows me access all areas, so they can't keep me out :) . (I get on well with the IT guys and will use the forms for standard stuff) ]

[The "oh my gosh" or "sigh" or "Oh not again" in the office that may be involuntary, or , more probably, are the invite for someone to ask "oh, what's happened?"]

LinkedIn - most of the times that I go on it now.

If it's not Bridget Hyacinth spouting her 'wisdom' with an AGREE? at the end
It's an 'hilarious' picture of a trampoline that you're supposed to tap quickly
Or a picture of some wolves in a line showing us how the elderly should go first or something
Or it's a deep quote from Branson, Gates or Jobs

Or a humblebrag
Or pictures of what a great time individuals at a recruitment company are having (whether those celebratory breakfasts are as much fun in real life is anyone's guess)

I'm done - feel better now. Back to @stateofLinkedIn I go....
