Can you fix Garmin too, please? (The whole of Garmin, not a specific issue!)

The commercialisation of Hallowe'en, the waste of good pumpkin, the door-to-door scrounging, the amusing filtered photos on social media... none of it bothers me in the slightest, fill your boots if that's what makes you and your children happy.
The discarded sweet wrappers all over the street, dumped by ill-disciplined children, either ignored or accepted by their feckless parents... that does grind my gears.

ERM
The turning of Remembrance Sunday into a jazzed up jamboree involving a good dose of poppy one-upmanship.
(If you have that there Twitter, @giantpoppywatch covers my ramblings on this matter in an amusing manner)

Agree (like, share, zzz) with that, ERM. There's a car in a street near me that has one of those giant poppies stuck to the front grille. Owned by a Mr & Mrs Tatious and their son, Austin, if I'm not mistaken. To say nothing of the fact that said giant poppy has been stuck to the grille of said motor since last year, the red now weathered to a lovely shade nearer to pink.

Fragile Do Not Bend
Websites with overdone security measures.
There is a ‘rewards programme’ at work through which you can get small discounts with certain retailers. I got an email saying that if I logged onto the website I’d go in a draw for a £10 voucher.
I tried logging on with what I thought the password was. There was a captcha thing to prove I wasn’t a robot. Wrong password.
I tried another password. Did captcha. These are particularly tedious captchas which involve about 10 clicks on several images in order to pass the test. Wrong password.
I clicked on the forgotten password link. Another captcha.
Got a code via email, put it into the website. Another bloody captcha.
Enter a new password. ANOTHER SODDING CAPTCHA. Password fails due to it containing a ‘popular word’ despite also having capital letters and numbers in it.
I decide the chance of a £10 prize isn’t worth the bother.

The popup advert at the bottom of the site is really grinding my gears.

Unfortunately, ad revenue is still an important part of how the site is funded and my wages are paid.
