New garden furniture arrived with a gas fire pit table - turned it off broke the knob! Thankfully it can still be operated without it and they’re sending me a new one.

We’ve had a power cut for the last hour and a half. Dinner is late, but at least it wasn’t in the oven when the power went.

I didn't have time to eat my lunch today and have just realised that I've left it in the cupboard in my office so it will be mouldy by Monday morning.

The electric heater made a crackling noise like it was about to burst into flames but didn’t. It is now officially kaput. Rain is now dribbling through the conservatory roof but not for the first time and not in a way that will do significant damage right now

My sister used a load of fake blood for her costume tonight and then sat on our relatively new (it arrived in September) sofa and the fake blood transferred to the sofa.
