What minor disaster has befallen you today?

It is not the dusky, pale pink the little card I brought home from B&Q suggested but a much more sugary pink. I may have to spend some time at the Dulux paint-mixing station tomorrow.

The first four pages it came up with had all sorts of discussions and useful facts about split peas, and in fact had as their page title something like "How long does it take to cook split peas", but none of them had an answer. I am now cooking lentils instead.
