My sister's cat once caught a young pheasant, killed it, dropped it outside her bedroom door. A student at the time, studying in Exeter, my sister then took it back down to her shared accommodation and cooked the pheasant for Sunday lunch.

Glad to entertain! It wasn't a pretty sight, I can tell you.
Having caught said rabbit, I then had to get my dressing gown on without dropping it so that I could take it outside and release it where the cat couldn't get at it. A sensible person would have put their dressing gown before trying to catch the rabbit. ;)

Removed a mouse from the lawn this morning which is nothing new as our little cat is a proper little hunter so quite used to her gifts. However, last year even I got a shock when she brought home a baby rat nearly the size of her.................three mornings in a row!!!

Cringer's approach to slugs is excellent for the vegetable patch, if only she didn't insist on using it as a litter tray!

She befriended a hedgehog at the bottom of the garden when she was young so maybe that's where she learnt the slug thing.

My mother's cats once got a big rabbit stuck in the cat flap. They did the only sensible thing and ate the half that was inside the house.

I would never have another cat knowing what I do about them now. Horrible little creatures really.

Definitely not horrible, Pootle. Some of them just have a few bad habits and they're really only doing what comes naturally.

You don't count pooing and puking rat guts up all over your house/bed as horrible?
