When I got up on the morning of VLM, my cats had left a mouse, neatly lined up next to my kitbag, as a good luck gesture.

We have in the past (from different cats) received potatoes, chicken carcasses, a goldfish, crisp packets, car washing sponges, string, many many birds and mice, a budgie, and once (when we lived in cardiff) a very large rat.

Many, many mice. One of which I recued and re-released at least three times (it had a distinctively short tail)

Two bats, one of which then woke up from its terrified torpor and started flying round the bedroom.

A mole, live. When I got home the poor thing was trying to burrow its way through carpet.

Has anyone elses cat started a habit of coming in really late recently. Roughly about this time most evenings.

I know its a different subject to the thread but some people get offended by cat threads.

Not staying out HR but then my old mog is 17 years old so just about gets up to eat and then goes back to sleep again! Although she did go to sleep on the newly cleaned patio today instead of indoors.

I think someone's cat recently brought home a degu around by us. Saw it in our back garden, but before I had the sense to try to trap it, off it scuttled into next door's wilderness wood of a garden. RIP fo' sho'.
