I fortunately got a call from the vet saying someone had taken in Bunt Bunt after she had been knocked over. As much as it was heartbraking to see her, glad I had the chance to say goodbye and wasn't wondering where she was. I found a little one quite some time ago and knew where she lived, it was one of the worst things to knock on the door and explain. Troops (another clue), look at my picture set |

I once witnessed a cat getting run over by the van in front of me. It stumbled and came to rest against the wheel of my car. I held up the traffic moving my car and picking the cat up, by which time it had passed away I went round the local houses looking for the owner, though the neighbours thought the owner probably wouldn't care I can't remember now how I left it, but I was so upset about it. |

s'ok QMac. We won't tell your colleagues that you're a softy when it comes to cats. I saw a cat get hit by a car once. I was driving behind and they just drove off. I stopped to see if the cat was ok. It was just about breathing so I knocked on a few doors to see if I could find it's owner. I found them eventually and they rushed off to the vet with it. Never did find out if it was ok. Sure the owner thought it was me that hit it :-S |

It's ok SSH, they all know, but I am at that fortunate stage of being the one that gives the orders and not takes them!

Mog was tired, she was dead tired. her head was dead tired, her paws were dead tired, even her tail was dead tired. mog thought "i want to sleep forever" and so she did. but a little bit of her stayed awake to see what happened next. what happened next was that everybody wept, "oh why did mog have to die" wept debbie, "she was so lovley" wept nicky, "well she was quite old" said mrs thomas, then she wept too. even mr thomas wept , he said "she was our family pet, we'll all miss her" "well of course theyll miss me" thought mof "they'll never manage without me, but its quite true- i WAS very lovely" After this happened nothing happened for some time, debbie and nick talked about her "remember how she used to hang her tail in front of the tele" said nicky "like this you mean?" thought mog, but the telly shone through her (pic shows a ghostly mog) "she used to come into our beds" said debbie" "and look here i am" thought mog, but nobody looked, mog thought "they cant see me" the book continues with them getting another kitten who mog helps to settle in before she floats up towards the sun , cant believe i typed all that without crying guardian.co.uk |

rmo3b - for the love of god stop, I've just had to discipline three of my miscreants and then I read the above - luckily they were out of my office by that point!
