Like many people, they become my "everyday" shoes at work until they completely fall apart.

Sadly I have not found an option for recycling them in NZ yet :(

Too Much Water
Mine moved to north Wales, got a dog, and started making slightly off comments influenced by too much reading of the Daily Mail

My trail shoes are normally destroyed by the time I retire them, and my road shoes too ugly to wear as normal shoes so off to the recycle bin they go.

um
Some go the walking / gardening shoe route ....
Quite a few others end up donated to locals in holiday locations who either have no shoes or bits of tyre & string (as per my guide on Mt Kinabalu)

Got something to say?

Personally - my shoes, when they have come to the end of their "running career" - end up as garden...
