Eynsham the Red Knows Rain Dear
That I can’t sing the descant parts to Christmas carols anymore. Every time I try and fail, and it always comes as a surprise, even though I haven’t been able to do so since I was in the lower school choir over fifty years ago.

57.5 Days of Xmas
I'm a few days behind, but my first car was a bright yellow 1973 Saab estate called the Yellow Saab Machine (as in 'We all live in a ....'). No car since has gained a name. That car boasted a heated seat but no heated rear screen (a stick on aftermarket heater had been wired in at some point). I last went cold water swimming in that car... about 34 years ago. OK, that's me caught up. |

Fragile Glass Bauble
The earliest sunset in the UK occurs around now, not at the winter solstice. The days carry on getting shorter until the solstice as the sunrise time keeps getting later until the new year. countryfile.com |
