when I first heard on Monty Python it was always spoken by a fake continuity announcer and I was taken in for a week or two. But I don't remember hearing it on Blue Peter.

LOL. I'm quite happy to accept the Sharkie view!

(Our first family TV was a 14" B&W portable, with a permanent ghost due to the lack of a decent root mast or signal. I learned to watch the "main" figures rather than the whole picture!)

That the lockers in the women's changing room are a different colour from those in the men's.

(Scandalised? I know this because they're both currently closed to install new showers, and the lockers have all been moved to one room with segregated screened off sections for changing.)
