Well I never knew that before either, Rosehip, and I have it too! My sister clearly has a fantastically visualising brain and we have had many weird conversations in the past as I can't 'see' what she sees.

That's where this came from - a conversation with several "what?" "how?" don't get that?" from me

Interesting Rosehip - I always assumed it was a deficiency in my ability to articulate what I "see" in my mind, rather than a known "thing" in some people. Are there any other interesting characteristics of it, do you know? i.e. don't dream much, strongly "mathematical" mind, or anything? (Yes, I do have someone in mind!) |

Fetch is on twitter. So now after 5 years on twitter I am following 5 twitter feeds. One is temporary as I always keep an eye on my next tourist parkrun (when they have a twitter account). The excitement is mounting (or so that goat said).

You can see a solar eclipse and the sun at the same time! Albeit only for a few minutes near sunrise or sunset. It is called a selenelion. |

That once the moon is in total solar eclipse, you can't see it any more, so you don't know it is there while the sun rises...

The smell of the air after a storm is caused by Geosmin: A chemical released by dead soil bacteria. Humans are hyper sensitive to it, capable of detecting at a concentration of 5 parts per trillion. It's theorised in our evolutionary past this helped us seek out water.☔️⛈️ |
