Well done all. I was within a min of my PB and got my best WAVA since 2015 and my best WAVA at this distance. Super happy.

Footpad, sorry to miss you.

Gosh that was a busy race. I’m used to being pretty much on my own near the back but it was at least 4K before I could run without dodging round people all the time.

I felt like I had plenty of room to run in Yellow most of the time but I was warming up in the first 1.5 miles and any crowding had dispersed by then.

We found it a bit too crowded if I'm honest. A lot of runniñg around people and sneaking through gaps

Me too. Think I might have been in the wrong wave and we def started right at the back.

Saw on twitter 19,465 finishers. No wonder it seemed busy.

Complaints on twitter as apparently they ran out of T-shirts and medals.

I elected to be in the ‘wrong’ wave when I entered this thing and I was much slower then, so that’s completely down to me.

However the congestion was ridiculous in the first couple of miles. I’d put this down to much too many people signed up, and people overestimating their abilities (worse than I had underestimated mine) with some walking from inside a mile. Also big clumps of charity runners all blocking the way because ‘no one gets left behind’ and they all want to run together.

This is the 4th I've run this and I do think it was worse today. ... I had dropped back a wave to be with son who was running his first 10k so at the time if entering I had no idea of how fast he would be
