Those monthly mileage targets are really useful Elsie, thanks.

Another quick walk this morning takes me to 21 miles but the weather forecast looks promising so hoping to get some longer walks under my belt later in the week.

I'm at 24 miles on WCP - just by the RSPB wetlands :-)

Thanks for spotting my typo - now corrected.

For the monthly mileage I think I've given the LEJOGers about an extra 0.4 of a mile to do in the last month but I hope you'll forgive me for that!

If anyone has the link to the LEJOG map I can add that to the header as well.

Jennyh - you and I are within a mile of each other!
Raemond is half way to our position.
Sweetie is a couple of miles behind Raemond.
WA is a few miles behind me and Jennyh.
Synge is a couple of miles behind WA.

I really must concentrate on my work and not find these distractions!

To do more good while I'm out virtually walking to John O'Groats I have just had a litter picker gadget delivered so I can now pick up rubbish left lying around in my beautiful woods & fells that the idiots keep leaving lying around. I am rather sad I'm running tonight I could have made a start. Tomorrow it is!!

Off to nibble away at some miles before the rain comes.

Gah, miles don't really mean anything to me, as I didn't start running until we lived out here and it made more sense to work in km.

But I guess I'll have a year to get used to it...

Raemind 72.5m is 116.67km

Been out and ticked another 5.5m off calf was tight - stretched. Eased nicely then pain moved to my groin! Thankfully all ok now. I’m sure it’s paranoia.

No no, don't worry!

I'm just grouching because I'm lazy, I've switched my fetch training log into miles, so I can just read the distances off here :) I'll get the hang of the conversion rate as I go along, I'm sure.

Thanks for the update on positions, Elsie. I think I’ll be tailwalker for a month or two! But I’m happy for you all to do the route finding! And spotting good beaches and ice cream stops. 😀

First 20 miles done! I think this is me in a field on the way to Newport.



Aside from a couple of conferences at the Celtic Manor, the only time I have ever been to Newport was to see a Robert Plant gig.
