If you join the group on strava you don’t need to upload proof apparently so I haven’t been sending anything. They do spot checks only anyway.

I haven't managed to make the strava link work - I've been uploading my mileage via the map page (the one I've provided as the link opposite) - includes a table for logging mileage and attaching a screenshot of Garmin or strava log. If you have more than one set of mileage for the day you need to combine them as it will only take the most recent.

If anyone has any top tips on how to get an automatic upload from strava that would be great.

My activities are recorded on strava and I sent endtoend a link to my strava account at the start of my event. I didn't enable any automated links, though, as I wanted to use only walks and not runs. Now I am using runs and not walks. This means that I have to upload each day's distance to the endtoend platform, but it isn't too time consuming. I don't upload any "evidence" and the spreadsheet has always acknowledged the upload within about 10 seconds.

Whether they do spot checks or no checks (oh, he's told us he's got a strava account so he must be OK!), I don't know.

I believe that the orange site can't automatically upload your mileage but it can be used instead of evidence for running, but not walking.

My understanding is also that the evidence is mainly for the people at the front of the field and only spot checks on others. That said I have uploaded evidence for all my logged activity, just in case!

It doesn’t automatically upload it but it’s visible to endtoend (as long as you make it public) if they want to check. You have to become part of the group and walks don’t appear in the group leader board but are still visible for checking purposes. That’s my understanding anyway.

Thanks all - wasn't sure if I was missing any techy wizziness! I log evidence for every day I log miles - just in case! Its easy enough to screen shot Garmin or strava and attach the photo.

Sorry, I seem to be LEJOG9, not LEJOG10. I hadn't realised they both started on January 1st, and both last 12 months, so picked the first description I saw that matched what I was doing.
